ITEM NO. 1 – Framed vintage colored print of Reinagle's Hound from Sportsman's Guide, 1803.  This is a page from an old book and was purchased by the donor in 1973 while touring England. Captain Graham's “perfect hound”.  Donated by Jo and Bruce Van Wely. 

ITEM NO. 2 – The Irish Wolfhound in Irish Literature and Law by Alfred W. DeQuoy, privately published in 1971.  In excellent condition.  Donated by Jo Van Wely.  Estimated value of $400.  

ITEM NO. 3 – Framed signed print “Wha'cha doin'?”.  Donated by artist, Michael Hussey. 

ITEM NO. 4 – Handmade Quilt by Mary O'Brien.  Donated by maker (her license plate is “Quilter”). 

ITEM NO. 5 – The Irish Wolfhound in Competition by Alfred W. DeQuoy, 1980.  In excellent condition.   No longer in print.  Donated by Jo Van Wely.  Estimated value of $230. 

ITEM NO. 6 – One week in St. Croix!  Lodging for one week at a beachfront condo in St. Corix in the Virgin Islands.  Apartment is one bedroom with a sleeping loft.  Offer must be used by December 15, 2011.  Donated by Jane and Richard Staudt.  Minimum bid $500. 

ITEM NO. 7 – Sterling Silver pin of standing Irish Wolfhound.  Cast by lost wax process.  Pin is 3 by 2 ¼ inches.  Can also be worn as a pendant.   Donated by Jo Van Wely.   

ITEM NO. 8 – Specialty Single Malt!  A 12 year old single malt Irish Whiskey Distillery Reserve (700ml) from the Bushmills distillery in Ireland.  Label reads “Irish Wolfhound Club of America National Specialty 2011” and comes in a gift box.  Unavailable in U.S.  Donated by Tamara Ritenthaler.  Value of $90.00.   

ITEM NO. 9  – Signed, matted and framed print “KEEPERS OF THE GLEN” by Elizabeth Halstead.  Framed print is 21 by 24 ½ inches and is No. 287 of limited edition of 800.  Donated by Doug Marx and Amy Benjamin and the Irish Wolfhound Association of the Delaware Valley.  Estimated value is $375. 

ITEM No. 10 – Signed canvas print of a photograph titled “SIGHTED” by Mary O'Malley dated 2011.  The image captures that moment when an Irish Wolfhound has spotted something in the distance and is intensely focused on it.  The print is 16 by 20 inches and is gallery-wrapped and ready to hang.  Donated by artist.  Estimated value is $250.00. 

ITEM NO. 11 – The Irish Wolfhound by Catherine G. Sutton, one of the U.K.'s most famous judges.  This little book, published in 1975 by the Dog Owner's Library, lists all 122 United Kingdom champions from Champion Sheelah (Capt. Graham) in 1882 to Champion Sulhamstead Ministrel (Mrs. Nagle and Miss Ellis) in 1975.  Donated by Jo Van Wely.  

ITEM NO. 12  – Limited edition print, “GEORGIA” by Michael Hussey.  This is a commissioned print and only 6 exist.  Donated by artist. 

ITEM NO. 13 – Irish Wolfhound “Throw”.  Woven cotton light blanket, 44 by 60 inches in dark green with brown showing 3 Irish Wolfhounds, one resting and two standing.  Originally sold by IWCA.  Donated by Laura Trainor. 

ITEM NO. 14 – Basket of Local New York State wines and 2 etched Irish Wolfhound wine glasses.  Donated by Liz McMahon.  Value of $75. 

ITEM NO. 15 – Limited edition print (#8 of 50) “CONNOR” by English artist Colleen Ellis and 4 matching greeting cards.  This series was produced as a tribute to his breeder, Jonette Jones of Steppin'wolf, a truly special lady who passed away in November 2010.  All profits from this series are donated to the Irish Wolfhound Foundation.  Donated by Elizabeth Barningham.  Estimated value is $100. 

ITEM NO. 16 –  8” hand crocheted Irish Wolfhound donated by Susan Andring. 

ITEM NO. 17 – Kelly green cotton short sleve T-Shirt size XL.  Has 3 stylized Celtic Hounds in a circle, multi-colors in design by Pat Fish.  Donated by Judy Mazurkiewicz.  Estimated value $25.00.  

ITEM NO. 18 – Signed, matted and framed photograph titled “WEARY” by Mary O'Malley and dated 2006.  The image shows an Irish Wolfhound at home after a long day, resting peacefully but still keeping an eye on his family activities.  Print is 11 by 14”, matted and framed to 16 by 20”.  Donted by artist.  Estimated value is $150.

ITEM NO. 19 – The Irish Wolfhound Guide by Alfred W. DeQuoy, 1973.  Book has inscription signed by author and has been lovingly chewed on the corners by a hound but all words and pictures are fine.  Donated by Jo Van Wely. 

ITEM NO. 20 – Floor Pad, Irish Wolfhound sized, in dark green canvas with IWCA logo.  Has side zipper and removable foam pad.  Donated by Patrick Walker. 

ITEM NO. 21  – Greeting Cards, “The Mabel (Y)ears” by English artist Colleen Ellis.  Four cards showing Marvelous Mabel, featured reguarly in the Irish Wolfhound Quarterly where she is known and loved for her column and amuzing writings under the title “Mabel's Musings”.  Donated by Elizabeth Barningham. 

ITEM NO. 22 – Bottle of Tullamore Dew and 2 etched glasses.  Donated by Bruce Van Wely.

ITEM NO. 23 – Harp & Hound Biannual Magazines of the IWCA, years 1973 to 1978 (the Wild Isle Warlock period). 

ITEM NO. 24 – Tape “The History & Development of the Irish Wolfhound” by Anthony Killykeen-Doyle.  Author, a noted breed historian and judge, reads his brief history of the Irish Wolfhound with the setting of Irish History.  This is a casset tape purchased in 1994 and is about 20 minutes in length. 

ITEM NO. 25  – Framed vintage print “BOY WITH WOLFHOUND”.  Authentic color print by Louis A. Fuertes published in The National Geographic Magazine in 1919.

ITEM NO. 26 – Green Ceramic Bowl decorated on rim with old Irish 6pence coins displaying the Irish Wolfhound. Bowl is 12" in diameter and was commissioned by Judy Mazurkiewicz for the 2011 Specialty Show. Estimated value $125.

ITEM NO. 27 – Resin cast sculpture of a resting Irish Woldhound by Anne Ruppert of Silver Springs, MD. Number 59 of a limited edition of 100. Donated by Jo Van Wely. Estimated value $50.
